Gore-Tex Membrane Upper The upper features a Gore-Tex membrane that provides the shoe with fully waterproof protection and high breathability. Above the Gore-Tex lining is a Ripstop abrasion-resistant mesh that is highly breathable but still prevents trail debris from entering the shoe. The Ripstop mesh is highly durable and is strong enough to withstand everyday wear and tear suffered on the trail. TPU overlays provide efficient and reliable support, especially in the midfoot, by locking the foot securely in place when the laces are fastened. These overlays help the high-density foam in the midsole to provide sufficient stability.
